Future Chefs’ model is based on the belief that every student is unique and flourishes in respectful, safe, stimulating settings that provide opportunities for growth, and relationships with caring, supportive adults who honor students’ lived experiences. Future Chefs occupies 5770 square feet of meeting, kitchen, and office space on the first floor of The Clarion where we deliver programming and continue to build community-based collaborations that directly and indirectly support our mission.

Executive Director

Senior Youth Services Manager

We seek a Senior Youth Services Manager who brings a deep passion for social justice and demonstrated management and facilitation skills in the youth serving space. Our community-based organization uses food as a medium to support positive youth development in an ASOST kitchen environment. This Senior staff member will supervise a youth services staff of five, partnering with the Senior Culinary Manager to ensure that youth services and culinary staff are delivering curriculum and programming in a youth centered environment that stresses social and emotional growth and leadership development. Director of Community Engagement

We seek a seasoned professional with experience creating and sustaining partnerships and new business to oversee our community engagement initiatives. The Director of Community Engagement will help to grow, elevate, and enhance the work and positive impact of FC’s mission by growing community engagement, increasing earned revenue, and creating long-lasting partnerships and relationships.

Culinary Arts Instructor

The Culinary Arts Instructor will work collaboratively with the Future Chefs Program Team to deliver and refine a work-based curriculum for two of the three Future Chefs programs, FC Prepares and FC Delivers, as well as other culinary programming in partnership with schools and other community organizations. The position will include supervising and leading both kitchen and classroom-oriented activities and assisting with professional skills workshops at the Future Chefs kitchen space in Roxbury and offsite at external partner locations. The Culinary Arts Instructor is an essential member of the Program Team who tracks student progress through program-wide evaluation efforts.
